Richard Whittaker BSc DipM MCIM
Managing Director & Chartered Marketer
Richard gained extensive business experience during ten years of consultancy before launching IHM with Mark Perry in 1999. IHM works in partnership with clients, creating competitive advantage through the practical delivery of sales and marketing solutions.
After graduating in 1975, Richard joined Nestlé as a management trainee spending five years in sales and general management of a frozen food profit centre.
During five years with Unilever, Richard enjoyed marketing and brand management training, gaining the professional status of Chartered Marketer.
This was followed by three years marketing, advertising and PR management at Northern Foods.
Mark Perry MA (Oxon)
Director
Mark graduated with an MA from Oxford University in 1995. He gained early career experience in the commercial application of new media and multimedia working in publishing, graphic design and human resources.
Mark is now responsible for the integration of traditional and new media. Whilst many IHM clients are aware of the importance of cost-effective sales promotion and e-commerce, professional firms are increasingly using bespoke Swift Feedback Systems to improve their relationship marketing, understand their clients' real needs and generate new income streams.
Ned Hoste BA (Hons)
Graphic Design Associate
Ned graduated from Exeter College of Art and Design in 1984 working as a cover and publicity designer for Sphere Books. He then moved into design consultancy as a studio manager and designer.
In 1988, Ned started the 2h Design and Illustration consultancy in London working within the book publishing industry, designing publicity material for many of the mainstream trade publishers. From this base 2h has branched out into design services in many sectors including corporate identity, brochures, newsletters, art direction of websites and advertising.
Kate Pettitt MCSD
Graphic Design Associate
Kate is passionate about design and likes nothing better than a good design challenge!
After graduating in York in 1992, she started her career as a designer at Shepherd Homes, before becoming Senior Designer at York College where she also taught graphic design and design software.
Following her years at York College, Kate became a senior creative at kma interactive media, designing websites and interactive graphics for live shows and artists such as The Brits, Craig David and Tom Phillips.
In 2002 she launched her own design company, Bivouac. Clients now range from businesses to public sector organisations and from start-up companies to large multinationals. Jobs vary from branding, websites, sales literature and newsletters to large books and museum interactives.
Kate is a member of the Chartered Society of Designers (MCSD), a body that upholds standards of design and design practice.
Simon Bolstridge
Web Design and Development
Simon developed a passion for website development in the late 1990s whilst working as IT Coordinator with both the Royal Omani Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Guard of Oman.
In 2005, he formed Squeegee Design with Tom Bradbury, specialising in website design and e-business applications.
Simon's skills are put to good use at IHM and also at York College where he lectures in advanced web developments.
Tom Bradbury BSc
Web Design and Development
Tom graduated from the University of Teesside in 2003 with a BSc Multimedia. His studies included interactive design theory, database development, advanced flash and web programming, plus 3D modelling and animation.
After two years development experience with a York based Internet consultancy, he formed Squeegee Design with Simon Bolstridge.
Tom and Simon provide IHM with the skills of an extremely competent, creative and resourceful e-business solutions team.
Paul Cooper FMPA FBIPP QEP
Commercial Photographer
Paul has gained over 150 awards as principal photographer at Bailey Cooper. These include the top accolades of UK Photographer of the Year from the MPA and BIPP.
Paul shoots commercial images for advertising and packaging. He shoots press as well as PR images for the newspaper and magazine industry - and lots of people shots.
As IHM's commercial photographer, Paul brings a high level of expertise to the creative team. Why look good when you can look great?
