In-House Marketing Home

The DTI is providing grant aid up to a maximum of £5,000 for small and medium businesses (generally between 10 and 250 employees) located in England, that are looking to grow, have some idea of how to get there and have the resources to undertake a best practice project.

In-House Marketing can utilise the DTI’s matched funding to help address a wide range of issues including strategic marketing, marketing planning, new business development, e-business applications, new product development, relationship marketing, communication and sales promotion.

Step one: This involves a free, facilitated critical evaluation of your business’s competitive performance, working with a Business Link adviser. Step two: The adviser creates, a practical, tailored action plan for your business that identifies key areas for improvement and highlights potential sources of help. Step three: If your adviser decides that a tailored implementation project will be effective they’ll help you choose an accredited expert from their national register. When a tailored project is recommended and undertaken, the DTI will provide the funds for half of your project costs up to a maximum of £5,000. Step four: Your adviser will arrange a follow-up meeting six to twelve months after the project to review progress and impact on your business performance.
